1 Hospitalized after Los Angeles Bicycle Crash at S. Sepulveda and Wilshire Boulevards
Los Angeles, California (June 27, 2022) – A bicyclist was struck and seriously injured by a car early Monday morning at an intersection in Los Angeles, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at around 4:30 a.m. at South Sepulveda Boulevard and Wilshire Boulevard, near LA's Westwood Village neighborhood.
The Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles Fire Department, as well as two ambulances, responded to the crash scene.
The cyclist was transported to UCLA Medical Center with serious injuries. The patient's condition was not mentioned.
The report did not give details about the cause and manner of the accident.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the collision.
