, Calif. – A 56-year-old bicyclist was killed in an apparent hit-and-run traffic collision on Taft, according to a police report.

The bicyclist was found just after 7 a.m. on Sunday, February 4 on Gardner Field Road west of Commerce Way. The male cyclist died at the scene.

According to the Kern County Sheriff's Office, the date and time of the accident were not known.

The incident remains under investigation.
