2 Injured in Bloomington Car Crash on 10 Freeway near Cedar Avenue
Bloomington, California (January 1, 2022) – Two people were hurt in a traffic collision that happened Saturday morning in Bloomington, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred at about 5:34 a.m. on westbound 10 Freeway at Cedar Avenue.
The incident involved two vehicles, including one that was allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the collision. One of the vehicles crashed into a tree on the right-hand shoulder. The other ended up facing the wrong way in the center divider with a broken left rear tire.
Emergency crews responding to the scene found one patient in the center divider and another on the right-and shoulder. Both victims suffered minor injuries. An ambulance was requested to respond to the scene to offer medical aid.
Authorities did not mention the cause of the accident, but an investigation is ongoing.
