Hermiston, Ore. – A 10-year-old boy was killed five days after a multi-car crash that sent nine others to hospital on Umatilla River Road in Hermiston.
According to the Umatilla County Sheriff's Office, the incident happened last year on Monday 26, December, on Umatilla River Road near Cooney Lane.
The boy was pronounced dead five days later in Legacy Randall's Hospital for Children in Portland.
An investigation is ongoing.

Hermiston, Ore. – Several people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision near Hermiston on Monday, according to the Umatilla County Sheriff's Office.
The crash happened on Umatilla River Road near Cooney Lane.
At least four cars were involved in the collision, whose cause was not immediately established.
As many as eight people were injured in the incident.
There was no update on the extent of their injuries.
The Umatilla County Sheriff's Office is investigating the wreck.
