Boy Hospitalized after Napa Crash on Old Sonoma Road

, California (May 23, 2022) – A 16-year-old boy was hospitalized after being involved in a head-on collision Sunday afternoon in Napa, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The wreck occurred just before 4 p.m. in the 4071 block of Old Road near Congress Valley Road.

A white Toyota sedan collided with a white Subaru head-on under unclear circumstances.

A 16-year-old boy in one of the cars was transported to Sonoma Valley Hospital with pelvic pain and bruising.

Both vehicles were towed away with major front-end damage.

Old Sonoma Road was shut down in both directions following the accident.

Police are investigating the collision.
