According to the Fire Department, the crash happened at about 8:14 p.m. on the 71000 block of Dinah Shore Drive near the Westin Mission Hills Resort.

Olea was pronounced dead at the scene at about 8:18 p.m. the same night. Two other people were injured in the crash. One patient had serious injuries, and the other had minor injuries. Both patients were transported to the hospital.
