Minor Seriously Hurt in Brentwood Bike Crash on Shady Willow Drive near San Creek Trail
Brentwood, California (March 29, 2022) – A minor riding a dirt bike was hospitalized with major injuries after colliding with a Brentwood Police Department vehicle on Saturday evening.
The accident occurred after juveniles on dirt bikes were seen riding at high rates of speed on Brentwood streets.
At around 5:30 p.m. March 26, one of the juveniles collided with a police vehicle that was making a U-turn on Shady Willow Drive near San Creek Trail.
The 17-year-old boy was airlifted to a hospital with major injuries.
Details on the other teens were not immediately available. Authorities said the juveniles were riding non-street-worthy bikes.
The Antioch Police Department is conducting an investigation into the crash.
