1 Killed, 1 Injured in Brentwood Crash on Brentwood Boulevard near Byron Highway
Contra Costa County, California (October 26, 2021) – One person was killed and another was injured Tuesday afternoon in a head-on collision in Brentwood, according to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident's log.
The deadly wreck happened at around 3:27 p.m. in the 11400 block of Brentwood Boulevard near Byron Highway.
As per the CHP report, a gold sedan collided head-on with a van on Brentwood Boulevard.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the victim has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
Another person sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by responding paramedics. Their condition at this time remained unknown.
Brentwood Boulevard was closed for at least one hour as the investigation and cleanup took place.
