Brian Enright Killed in Magalia Motorcycle Accident on Dogtown Road near Skyway

Butte County, California (June 16, 2022) – 20-year-old Brian Enright, of Paradise, has been identified as the motorcyclist who was killed in a crash on Tuesday evening in Magalia.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly crash happened at around 5:20 p.m. on Dogtown Road near Skyway.
Enright was riding a motorcycle when he crashed into an SUV driven by Noelle Sakschewski, 37 of Stirling City. He was ejected from the bike and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The impact of the collision sent the SUV off the roadway and down an embankment.
Sakschewski suffered moderate injuries and was transported to the hospital.
More details about the accident were not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.

Magalia, California (June 15, 2022) – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a vehicle in Magalia on Tuesday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place at around 5:20 p.m. on June 14, on Dogtown Road north of Skyway.
A 20-year-old Magalia man was reportedly traveling south on Dogtown Road when he collided with a northbound SUV driven by Noelle Sakschewski, 37, of Stirling City.
The rider of the motorcycle was ejected from the bike and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The SUV left the roadway after the collision and went down an embankment.
Sakschewski suffered moderate injuries in the accident.
An investigation to determine the cause of the collision is being conducted by the CHP.
Traffic Collision Fatalities Reached a 16-Year High in 2021, Early Estimates Show
Newly released estimates by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) show that fatalities reached a 16-year high last year.
According to the Early Estimate of Motor Vehicle Traffic Fatalities in 2021 report released by NHTSA, about 42,915 people were killed in traffic collisions in 2021. This shows a 10.5% increase from the 38,828 fatalities reported in 2020. NHTSA says the projection is the highest number of traffic deaths since 2005 as well as the largest percentage rise in the history of the Fatality Analysis Reporting System.
The report indicates that the traffic fatalities in the following categories showed relatively large increases in 2021, as compared to 2020;
