Driver Seriously Injured, Another Arrested after Brisbane Car Crash on Bayshore Boulevard and Guadalupe Canyon Parkway

Brisbane, California (February 10, 2022) – A driver was seriously injured in a car crash in Brisbane on Wednesday afternoon, according to a police report.
The major injury collision happened at around 3:35 p.m. in the 3200 block of Bayshore Boulevard and Guadalupe Canyon Parkway.
A police officer was monitoring traffic on Bayshore Boulevard when they spotted a vehicle speeding southbound.
The officer attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver allegedly ran a red light and slammed into the side of a car that was making a left turn from Bayshore Boulevard onto westbound Guadalupe Canyon Parkway.
Driver Suffers Major Injuries in Brisbane
The driver of the broadsided vehicle sustained major injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Their current condition was not available.
The driver of the other vehicle and their passengers, including a child, had minor injuries. That driver was arrested and booked into San Mateo County jail on charges of reckless driving and child endangerment.
