Bryan Lopez-Islas Killed in Brentwood Car Crash on Vasco Road near Walnut Boulevard
Contra Costa County, California (December 1, 2021) – Bryan Lopez-Islas, 22, of Vallejo, has been identified by the Contra Costa County Coroner's Office as the man who was killed in a head-on collision on Thanksgiving morning in Brentwood.
According to California Highway Patrol, the deadly collision occurred at around 6:14 a.m., November 25, on Vasco Road, just south of Walnut Boulevard.
Bryan was driving a Toyota Corolla south on the highway when he collided head-on with a Ford F-350 that was traveling northbound.

Bryan was pronounced dead at the scene while his passenger suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the Ford was transported to a hospital with major injuries.
More details regarding the crash were not immediately available.
The accident remains under investigation.
