Van Nuys, CA – The two pedestrians who were hit and killed by a train in Van Nuys on Sunday night have been identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office.
Bunny Martinez, 39, and Jessie Lopez, 26, died following the crash that happened near 7600 Woodman Avenue at around 9:29 p.m. June 9.
According to pppp report, Martinez and Lopez were walking in the area when they were hit by an Amtrak Pacific Surfliner train.
Both were pronounced deceased at the scene.
No passengers on the train were injured in the incident.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
