1 Person Injured in Buttonwillow Crash on Interstate 5 near 7th Standard Road
Buttonwillow, California (April 13, 2022) – One person was injured in a Wednesday morning semi-truck accident in Buttonwillow, authorities said.
The crash occurred at about 7:31 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 5, just south of 7th Standard Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a semi-truck collided with a minivan on the freeway for undetermined reasons.
Following the collision, one of the vehicles required a tow truck. Both vehicles were also blocking several lanes of Interstate 5.

The driver of the semi-truck sustained minor injuries in the accident.
Further details regarding the mishap were not immediately.
