One Person Airlifted after Byron Collision on Byron Highway near Clifton Court Road
Contra Costa County, California (September 27, 2021) – One person was airlifted to a hospital after a car crash in Byron, according to a local news source.
At around 3:15 p.m. Sunday, September 26, emergency personnel responded to Byron Highway near Clifton Court Road to investigate a report of a traffic collision involving three vehicles.
A sedan reportedly slammed into a piece of farm equipment, which was being towed.
One person sustained major injuries and was airlifted to a hospital. The name of the victim and their condition were not immediately disclosed.
Byron Highway was blocked at Clifton Court Road following the crash.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.
