The man was riding a motorcycle north on North Gene Autry Trail when he collided southbound vehicle

Palm Springs, CA. – 31-year-old Caleb Goodrich has been identified as the man who died in a motorcycle accident at the intersection in Palm Springs on Sunday night.
The fatal collision happened around 8 p.m. on North Gene Autry Trail near East Via Escuela, according to the Palm Springs Police Department.
The man was riding a motorcycle north on North Gene Autry Trail when he collided southbound vehicle that was making a left turn onto East Via Escuela.
Goodrich, a resident of Auburn, was killed in the accident.
The other driver, a 64-year-old Rancho Mirage resident, was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
