Cameron Martinez ID'd as Man Killed in Goleta Traffic Collision on Highway 101 near Dos Pueblos Canyon Road
Goleta, California (August 27, 2021) – Cameron Martinez, 31, of Solvang, has been identified as the man who was killed in a two-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning in Goleta, according to the Santa Barbara County coroner.
The tragic wreck happened at about 2:00 a.m., on August 25, in the right-hand lane of northbound Highway 101 near Winchester Canyon Road.
According to the authorities, a 2016 Hyundai Sonata, driven by Martinez, collided with another vehicle on the highway in unclear circumstances.
The crash impact caused the Hyundai to swerve onto the shoulder before coming to a rest between the northbound and southbound lanes
