Carlos Galindo Killed in Merced County Collision on Fahey Road and Cherokee Road
Merced County, California (March 4, 2022) – One of the two victims of a fatal car accident in Merced County on Wednesday afternoon was identified as Carlos Galindo.
According to a local news source, the collision involving a Nissan and a Honda happened near Fahey Road and Cherokee Road.
The Nissan driver was eastbound on Fahey Road and drifted across the westbound lane. The Nissan ended up on the shoulder and crashed into a telephone pole.

The two occupants of the Nissan, Galindo and Elias Flores, succumbed to their injuries at the scene despite efforts from the medics to save them.
The driver of the Honda sustained minor injuries after the car left the roadway, crashed into the guardrail, and overturned into a canal.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
