, California (September 16, 2022) – Carlos6 Cruz Serna, 51, of Arvin, was among three people who died following an accident that took place near Arvin on Friday night, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.

The incident occurred shortly after 10 p.m. on September 9, in the area of Malaga Road and Sunset Boulevard.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a blue 2017 Volvo tractor trailer traveling northbound on Malaga Road failed to stop for a stop sign at Sunset Boulevard and collided with a Honda.

Three people, including Serna, died in the accident. The other victims had earlier been identified as Martha Alicia Flores, 48, of Arvin, and Monte Harold Johnson 65, of Arvin.

The CHP is investigating the incident.

, California (September 13, 2022) – Three people were killed in a Friday night car crash in Arvin, Kern County.

The California Highway Patrol says the triple- crash happened at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Malaga Road at around 10 p.m.

28-year-old Sukhwinder Singh was driving a semi- when he allegedly failed to stop at the intersection and collided with a 1997 Honda.

The impact of the collision sent the Honda off the roadway where it crashed into a power pole.

Officials say all three people inside the Honda were killed in the accident.

The identities of the deceased person were not immediately disclosed.

Singh was unhurt.

No additional information about the accident was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
