Bicyclist Injured in Carlsbad Accident on El Camino Real near Hosp Way
Carlsbad, California (February 12, 2022) – A bicyclist was injured in a traffic collision in Carlsbad on Friday afternoon.
The Carlsbad Police Department responded to the scene at around 1:16 p.m. February 11, in the 2700 block of El Camino Real near Hosp Way.
It's unclear what caused the collision.
The bicyclist was found unconscious in the northbound lanes of El Camino Real.

The victim, a 74-year-old man, was hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to be factors in the incident.
The Carlsbad Police Department is investigating the incident.
