1 Killed in Carmel-by-the-Sea Accident on Carmel Valley Road near Shulte Road
Carmel-by-the-Sea, California (October 8, 2021) – A fatal crash between two vehicles claimed the life of one person in Carmel-by-the-Sea on Friday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck occurred on Carmel Valley Road near Shulte Road at around 12:44 p.m.
According to CHP, two vehicles collided head-on in the area, and one of them was pushed off the side of the road and into a ditch.
One person was trapped in the wreckage.
