1 Hospitalized after Carmichael Crash at Marconi Avenue and Root Avenue
Carmichael, California (January 11, 2022) – One person was sent to a hospital following a car crash at a Carmichael intersection on Monday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at around 6:00 a.m. Monday, January 10 at the intersection of Marconi Avenue and Root Avenue.
A black Honda Civic collided with a black Dodge pickup truck at the intersection near the Grocery Outlet, the CHP said.
The Honda sustained front-end damage following the collision.
Carmichael Collision at Marconi Avenue and Root Avenue
One person was transported to the Kaiser North Sacramento with minor to moderate injuries. The name of the patient and their condition were not immediately available.
The intersection of Marconi and Root avenues was closed due to the incident.
The crash remains under investigation.
