Carol Singer Killed in Wrong-Way Crash on Woolsey Canyon Road in West Hills

West Hills, California (March 16, 2022) – Carol Singer, 76, has been identified as the woman who was killed in a Saturday morning head-on collision in West Hills, according to the Coroner's office.

The incident happened at about 6:15 a.m. March 12, in the area of 24045 Woolsey Canyon Road near Valley Circle Boulevard.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Nohemi Harrison, 57, of West Hills, was driving a Porsche when she drifted into the path of oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a 2003 Nissan driven by Singer.

Singer was taken to Northridge Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Harrison was hospitalized with minor injuries and later arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

The CHP is investigating the accident.
