Caruthers Accident at Highway 41 and Conejo Avenue Possibly Results in Injuries
Caruthers, California (August 24, 2021) – Possible injuries were sustained following a traffic collision that occurred at an intersection in Caruthers Monday morning.
The multi-vehicle crash took place in the area of Highway 41 and Conejo Avenue at about 6:25 a.m. on August 24.
As per the California Highway Patrol report, a Honda sedan or a white Hyundai traveling northbound on State Route 41 ran through a red traffic light before crossing over into southbound lanes and crashed with a black sedan and a semi-truck.
The white vehicle acquired major damage and began to smoke as a result of the collision.
In addition, the punctured fuel tank of the truck spewed diesel fuel onto the road.
Caruthers Semi-Truck Accident
All involved parties were attended to by paramedics who responded to the scene shortly after the crash.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
