Cassi Tejeda Among 2 Killed in Chico Collision near Neal Dow and E Fifth Avenues
Chico, California (February 1, 2022) – Cassi Tejeda, 22, was among two people who were killed in a crash involving a suspected DUI driver in Chico on Sunday afternoon, according to the Chico Police Department.
The wreck happened near Neal Dow and E Fifth avenues at about 5 p.m. January 30.
Authorities said two vehicles were involved in the collision. Tejeda and another person, identified as Courtney Kendall, 24, died in the accident.
Cassi Tejeda Killed in Chico Car Accident
Matthew Moen, 31, was arrested on charges of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated following the collision.
The investigation is ongoing.
