1 Injured in Castro Valley Car Crash on 580 Freeway near Redwood Road

Castro Valley, California (September 17, 2021) – At least one person was injured in a traffic collision in Castro Valley on Friday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened along the westbound lanes of Interstate 580 Freeway near Redwood Road at about 6:17 a.m.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision. The manner in which the accident happened, however, was not immediately established.
The CHP said the collision resulted in minor injuries.
