At Least 2 Hurt in Cerritos Car Crash at Bloomfield Avenue and South Street
Cerritos, California (January 5, 2022) – Authorities with the Los Angeles County responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday morning at an intersection in Cerritos.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, the accident took place at around 9:10 a.m. at Bloomfield Avenue and South Street.
Firefighters from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene to find one person trapped in the wreckage.
Six vehicles, including a FedEx truck, were involved in the wreck.
One person was treated for minor injuries at the scene by responding paramedics. Another person was taken to a trauma center in unknown condition.
Authorities did not mention the cause of the collision, but an investigation is ongoing.
