One Injured in Chico Four-Car Crash on Highway 99
Chico, California(April 7, 2022) – One person was injured Thursday afternoon following a crash involving four vehicles on Highway 99 in Chico, according to a police report.
The accident occurred at around 3:52 p.m. on northbound Highway 99 at the East 20th Street offramp.
Chico Four-Car Crash on Highway 99 Sends One to Hospital
According to the report, a pickup truck crashed into a sedan as traffic in the fast lane slowed down. The pickup truck then collided with another pickup truck while the sedan struck a third pickup truck.
The sedan driver was injured in the crash and was hospitalized with mild to moderate injuries.
