An 11-month-old child was struck and injured by a vehicle on Jackson Avenue Sunday afternoon, police said
San Jose, Calif. – Authorities are investigating an auto-pedestrian crash that left an 11-month-old child with injuries in San Jose Sunday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the wreck at around 12:10 p.m. December 31 2023 on Jackson Avenue.
Reportedly a vehicle ran over a child in the area for unknown reasons.
The child sustained injuries and was transported to Valley Medical Center for treatment.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the officers.
The identity of the child was not immediately disclosed.
No additional information about the crash was available.
An investigation is underway.
