Glendale, AZ – A child is in critical condition after a bicycle accident that happened Thursday evening near an intersection in Glendale.
The Glendale Police Department said the crash occurred just after 7:30 p.m. on Northern Avenue near 47th Avenue.
Authorities said a child was riding a bicycle in the area when they were hit by a pickup truck.
The manner and cause of the accident were not immediately determined.
The child was hospitalized in critical condition. Details about the age and gender of the child were not given.
Police also did not give information about the driver.
