1 Seriously Injured in Chino Car Crash on Highway 60 near mountain Avenue
Chino, California (December 10, 2021) – One person was sent to the hospital with serious injuries after a multi-vehicle accident that happened Friday afternoon in Chino, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The wreck took place at about 3:06 p.m. on eastbound Highway 60 near Mountain Avenue.
The report said a motorcycle and five cars were involved in the accident.
The motorcyclist was lying down between the HOV and the No. 1 lane. An off-duty Los Angeles Sheriff's Office deputy who was at the scene but not involved in the accident was blocking the HOV and No. 1 lane.
A black Jeep and a gray Chevrolet Colorado were also blocking traffic lanes after the crash.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported one person to the hospital for treatment of major injuries. The patient's condition was not mentioned.
Authorities did not immediately establish the cause of the accident, but they are investigating.
