1 Injured in Chino Hills Car Crash on 71 Freeway near Butterfield Ranch Road
Riverside, California (November 22, 2021) – One person was injured in a Sunday morning car accident in Chino Hills.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 8:16 a.m. on 71 Freeway near Butterfield Ranch Road.
An SUV and a semi-truck collided on the freeway in unclear circumstances and the impact of the collision caused the SUV to overturn onto its roof.
One person was possibly trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated.
CHP said one person was injured in the accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
