Major Injuries Reported in 205 Freeway Crash near Grant Line Road in Tracy
Tracy, California (September 7, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a traffic crash involving a big rig that happened Wednesday morning in Tracy, resulting in serious injuries.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident occurred at about 6:40 a.m. on westbound 205 Freeway at W Grant Line Road.
A semi-truck with an empty trailer jackknifed and hit a full-size van, as per the report.
The report said the crash resulted in major injuries. Emergency personnel responded and transported an unspecified number of parties to the hospital.
At least two traffic lanes remained closed to allow an investigation.
