1 Injured in Milpitas Car Accident on 880 Freeway near Dixon Landing Road
Milpitas, California (September 5, 2022) – According to a California Highway Patrol dispatch, at least one person sustained minor injuries on Sunday night in Milpitas.
The accident occurred at around 10:54 p.m. September 4, on southbound 880 Freeway, north of Dixon Landing Road.
Per the dispatch, two vehicles, including a red sedan, crashed for reasons still under investigation. The sedan sustained significant front-end damage following the crash.
Responding fire officials and medics attended to at least one person hurt in the accident. The injured party's name and current condition were not immediately released.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the accident scene.
Authorities closed all lanes temporarily following the accident.
No other details concerning this collision were released.
An investigation is underway.
