1 Injured in San Jose Car Accident on Highway 101 near Old Oakland Road
San Jose, California (August 20, 2022) – At least one person sustained minor injuries following a multi-car accident on Friday evening in San Jose, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at around 6:36 p.m. on August 19, on southbound Highway 101, just south of Old Oakland Road.
Per the CHP officials, four vehicles collided for unknown reasons.
Firefighters and medics arrived at the scene to attend to at least one person injured in the accident. The injured party's name and current condition were not immediately released.
The cars were blocking Lane 1 following the accident.
No other details regarding this collision were released.
An investigation is underway.
