1 Killed in Riverside Crash on Highway 91 near Adams Street
Riverside, California (July 27, 2022) – One person was killed in a crash that happened early Wednesday morning on a highway in Riverside, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Police officers, firefighters, and paramedics responded to eastbound Highway 91 near Adams Street, where the accident occurred at around 12:42 a.m.
CHP said a car was overturned onto its roof in traffic lanes when the driver of a white Toyota Camry slammed into it. It was not clear what caused the crash involving the flipped vehicle.
The driver of the Camry stopped on the right-hand shoulder and reported the incident to authorities.
The collision caused a brush fire on the right-hand shoulder.
One person was killed in the crash, the report said. Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner responded to the scene.
CHP is investigating the accident.
