The deadly collision happened at about 9:18 p.m. on S. Chesnut Avenue, just north of E North Avenue.
According to the CHP, a vehicle crashed into a canal and became fully submerged.
Witnesses told CHP that a male party was seen struggling to get out of the vehicle, but went under the water.
According to the CHP, at least one person died in the collision.
