Major Injuries Reported in Two-Car Accident on Turner Street and Grand Avenue in Lake Elsinore
Lake Elsinore, California (August 29, 2022) – At least one person was seriously hurt when two vehicles collided Monday afternoon at an intersection in Lake Elsinore, the California Highway Patrol said.
At around 1:55 p.m., two vehicles of unknown make and model were involved in a crash near Turner Street and Grand Avenue.
At least one person sustained major injuries as a result of the wreck. The victim was hospitalized in an unknown condition.
No other details were available, but an investigation is ongoing.

- Parents and drivers should follow school policies and procedures for picking up and dropping off students.
- Stop for school buses and watch for students rushing to catch or exiting the bus.
- Parents should teach the children walking or riding to and from school how to cross the road safely, such as looking both ways before crossing the street, crossing at marked crosswalks, and using available sidewalks.
