Palmdale, CA.- A California Highway Patrol officer was injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Palmdale on Tuesday afternoon, according to the authorities.
The incident happened at about 1:15 p.m. October 15 on Columbia Way and 6th Street West.
Authorities said a CHP motorcycle officer was involved in the crash with a gray Jeep Cherokee and a Nissan Sentra.
The officer was rushed to an Apple Valley hospital with critical injuries.
No one else was hurt in the crash.
Roads were shut down as crewe removed the damaged vehicles from the scene.
An investigation to determine the cause of the crash is under investigation.
