CHP Officer Hurt after Madera County Crash on Highway 41 near Road 415

Madera County, California (July 4, 2022) – A CHP officer was severely injured after a traffic collision on Saturday evening in Madera County, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at around 6:30 p.m. Saturday, July 2, on Highway 41 near Road 415.
Per the report, the CHP officer was traveling south on SR-41 in a marked SUV when they struck a Ford F150 pickup that was reversing out of a driveway. The pickup was reportedly approaching the location near Road 415. According to the report, neither driver noticed the other.
Responding firefighters transported the CHP officer to an area hospital for treatment. The Ford driver complained of pain, and it was unclear if he was taken to a medical center.
