2 Officers Injured in Mid-City Wrong-Way Car Accident on 10 Freeway near Crenshaw Boulevard
Mid-City, California (March 10, 2022) – Two California Highway Patrol officers were injured after colliding head-on with a wrong-way driver on Thursday morning in Mid-City.
The deadly collision happened on the 10 Freeway between Crenshaw Boulevard and Arlington Avenue at around 2:15 a.m.
A blue BMW was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes when it collided head-on with a CHP vehicle.
Two officers in the vehicle suffered minor injuries in the accident.
The driver of the other car was transported to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
