According to the Oregon State Police, the mishap happened at around 9:33 a.m. October 17 on State Route 97 near milepost 272.
Klamath County, OR. – Christian Lee Cleven Corwin,38, of Klamath Falls was identified as a pedestrian killed in a crash on Highway 97 in Klamath County Thursday morning.
According to the Oregon State Police, the mishap happened at around 9:33 a.m. October 17 on State Route 97 near milepost 272.
According to a preliminary investigation, a southbound Freightliner and trailer, operated by Usman Ahmad,36, of Sacramento (CA), struck Corwin for unknown reasons.
Corwin was declared deceased at the scene.
Ahmad was not injured and remained at the crash site and cooperated with the police.
The highway was impacted for approximately one hour during the on-scene investigation.
An investigation into this incident is ongoing.
