Christopher Moore Killed in Merced County Train Accident near Winton Way and Santa Fe Drive

County, Calif. – Christopher Moore, 39, of Winton, was killed in a crash involving a train in Merced County on Sunday night, according to the Merced County Sheriff Coroner's Office.

The accident took place at about 11 p.m. March 3, near Winton Way and Santa Fe Drive.

Authorities said Moore was trying to run across the tracks when he was hit by an Amtrak passenger train heading to Sacramento.

Moore was killed in the accident.

No other injuries were reported.

The authorities are investigating the incident.
