At around 9:50 a.m., the driver ran a red light at Hilltop Drive and E. H Street, crashing into a red car. Both vehicles ended up on the southeast corner of the intersection.

The red car was occupied by the male driver and his elderly mother, who was already suffering from a broken arm, which was in a cast.
