CHP Investigating Claremont Accident on Foothill (210) Freeway near Towne Avenue
Claremont, California (October 19, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a two-vehicle collision that took place early Tuesday morning in Claremont.
The rollover accident occurred on the Foothill (210) Freeway, just west of Towne Avenue, at approximately 6:27 a.m. on October 19.
Although the cause of the collision between a silver Nissan Frontier pickup truck and a white Ford F-350 pickup truck in the westbound lanes of the interstate was not immediately determined, the silver pickup rolled over and landed back on its wheels while the Ford pickup aquired moderate front-end damage upon the impact.

All involved parties were attended to by Los Angeles County Fire Department medical personnel who responded to the scene shortly after 6:27 a.m.
Officials requested tow trucks to remove both wrecked vehicles away from the scene.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
