San Diego County, CA – The authorities have released the identity of a woman who died after being struck by a vehicle on I-805 in National City late last month.
The San Diego County Medical Examiner identified the victim as 22-year-old Claudia Hernandez.
The deadly auto-pedestrian accident happened at about 5:15 a.m. on May 29 on northbound State Route 805 at 43rd Street off-ramp.
Responding crews found Hernandez suffering from multiple blunt-force injuries and declared her dead at about 5:30 a.m. at the scene.
