Man Killed in Fresno Motorcycle Collision at Shaw Avenue and Cedar Avenue
Fresno, California (October 17, 2021) – A Clovis man was killed in a motorcycle accident in Fresno on Sunday morning.
The fatal motorcycle accident happened at about 5:30 a.m. at Shaw and Cedar avenues, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The man was riding a motorcycle westbound on Shaw Avenue at a high rate of speed when he ran a red light at the intersection and struck a trailer being pulled by a van.
The van was making a left-hand turn from northbound Cedar.
The rider was ejected from the bike and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one else was injured in the accident.
The driver of the van stayed at the scene and was cooperative with the investigation.
