2 Injured in Coachella Crash at Avenue 53 and Calhoun Street
Coachella, California (October 24, 2021) – Two people were hospitalized Thursday morning following a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in Coachella, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at around 8:04 a.m. Thursday, October 21, at the intersection of Avenue 53 and Calhoun Street.
CHP said two vehicles collided at the Coachella intersection.
Car Crash in Coachella Sends 1 to Hospital
Two people sustained minor injuries in the crash. One of them was transported to the Desert Regional Medical Center, while the second victim was taken to the JFK Memorial Hospital. Their names and conditions were not immediately disclosed.
The intersection of Avenue 53 and Calhoun Street was blocked following the crash.
No further details regarding the crash were immediately provided.
