Man Killed in Coalinga Accident on Jayne Avenue near Sutter Avenue
Coalinga, California (March 6, 2022) – A man died following a crash that occurred on Jayne Avenue east of Coalinga on Saturday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened west of Sutter Avenue at about 7:15 p.m. March 6.
CHP said two vehicles were involved in the collision.

The man driving one of the vehicles was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A passenger in his vehicle was flown to a hospital for treatment.
The second driver was also airlifted to a hospital for treatment. A passenger in that vehicle suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital.
Speed is suspected to have played a role in the accident.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
