1 Killed in Coarsegold Car Crash on Highway 41 near Road 147
Coarsegold, California (August 29, 2021) – One person was killed in a Saturday night car collision that happened on a highway in Coarsegold, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Three vehicles were involved in the wreck that was reported at around 8:35 p.m. on Highway 41, just north of Road 147.
The vehicles were blocking the roadway, and debris from the crash was scattered in traffic lanes.
Authorities said one person died in the accident, and the coroner responded to the scene.
Caltrans also responded to the scene and closed a section of the highway as authorities investigated.
All lanes were reopened at about 12:08 a.m., Sunday.
CHP is investigating the accident.
