1 Injured in Colton Car Accident on 10 Freeway near Mount Vernon Avenue On-Ramp
Colton, California (April 19, 2022) – One person was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle collison that occurred Monday afternoon in Colton, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Two pickup trucks collided at about 3:30 p.m. on westbound 10 Freeway near the Mount Vernon Avenue on-ramp.
A Nissan Frontier pickup truck and a Ford pickup truck were involved in the accident.
A passerby called authorities advising that the driver of the Ford was trapped inside the vehicle.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported one person to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with the complaint of pain to the chest.
CHP is investigating the accident.
